School Chaplain required to support spiritual and pastoral care in a leading girls’ school.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual and pastoral support to students and staff across all year groups.
- Deliver assemblies, reflections, and prayer sessions that align with the school’s mission and values.
- Promote community service and charitable initiatives that reflect the school’s ethos.
- Encourage students to explore meaning, purpose, and values through engaging and inclusive activities.
- Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents as a visible and approachable presence.
- Collaborate with other staff to support the emotional, spiritual, and personal development of students.
- Contribute to the development of school policies and programs that promote well-being and inclusion.
- Represent the school in external events and community activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A strong Christian faith and commitment to pastoral care.
- Experience in a pastoral or spiritual leadership role within an educational setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents from diverse backgrounds.
- A relevant qualification in theology, religious studies, or a related field.
Preferred
- Experience in school chaplaincy or similar roles.
- Familiarity with the traditions and practices of the Christian faith.
- Experience in organizing and leading assemblies, reflections, and community events.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
