The Opportunity:

As a Midday Supervisor, you will ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils during lunchtime, both in the dining hall and playground. This role is ideal for someone who is caring, reliable, and passionate about supporting children’s development in a positive and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils during lunchtime periods.
• Promote positive behaviour and good manners among students.
• Support and supervise play in the playground and dining hall.
• Create a calm and enjoyable environment for all children.
• Work closely with other staff members to maintain consistency and support.
• Assist with the smooth running of lunchtime routines and transitions.
• Encourage positive social interactions and conflict resolution.
• Monitor and report any incidents or concerns promptly.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a supervisory or pastoral role.
• Experience with behaviour management strategies.
• Knowledge of child development and wellbeing practices.
