The Opportunity:

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Minibus Driver to provide a safe and efficient transport service for students on designated bus routes. This role is essential in maintaining the school’s transport operations and ensuring the wellbeing of students during travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a school minibus safely and efficiently along designated routes.
  • Ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Assist in the supervision and care of students during transport.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and school policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student transport and vehicle usage.
  • Communicate effectively with school staff and students.
  • Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly.
  • Support the school’s transport team in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Full, clean UK driving licence with category D1.
  • Previous experience of driving a large vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A responsible and trustworthy attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late afternoons.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of child passenger safety regulations.
  • Experience with vehicle maintenance or inspections.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
