Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to provide strategic and operational leadership.
  • Support the setting, monitoring, and improvement of academic and pastoral standards across the school.
  • Maximize opportunities for collaboration with other schools within The Circle Trust.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development for staff.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Ensure the school maintains its high standards of behaviour and discipline.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and initiatives.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to the school’s ethos of 'Excellence for All'.
  • Experience in managing and developing staff and school operations.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative structure.
  • Experience with performance management and professional development systems.
  • Experience in pastoral care and student welfare.
  • Knowledge of best practice in teaching and learning.
