Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Modern Foreign Languages lessons to students across a range of age groups.
  • Support the development of students’ language skills through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Work closely with other teachers and the house team to contribute to the overall pastoral care of students.
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate records of progress.
  • Take an active role in the life of the school, including residential and boarding house duties.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • A commitment to teaching and a willingness to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
  • Experience or a strong interest in teaching Modern Foreign Languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and take on additional responsibilities.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
  • A passion for working with young people and a commitment to their personal and academic development.
  • Experience with residential or boarding school environments.
