The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to contribute to a dynamic and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Modern Foreign Languages lessons to students across all key stages.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes language acquisition, cultural awareness, and linguistic confidence.
- Support students in achieving their academic potential through differentiated instruction and personalized learning strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular links and promote a whole-school approach to language learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in the broader life of the school, including co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior leadership.
- Stay up to date with current developments in language teaching and educational research.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Modern Foreign Languages.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at Key Stage 3 or 4.
- Familiarity with international curricula, such as the IB Diploma.
- Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
- Leadership experience or a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
- Proficiency in more than one modern foreign language.
