Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Modern Foreign Languages, focusing on student success and achievement.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies that enhance student performance and engagement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental goals and improve outcomes for all students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential.
- Participate in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching practice and subject knowledge.
- Support the school's commitment to student well-being and mental health.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extracurricular activities related to Modern Foreign Languages.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Modern Foreign Languages.
- Experience teaching French and Spanish to at least Key Stage 3 and GCSE level.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for inspiring young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and take responsibility for student progress.
Preferred
- Experience in developing creative and innovative teaching methods.
- Previous experience in a school with a strong focus on professional development.
- Familiarity with the Outwood Grange Academies Trust and its values.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
