The Opportunity:
As a PE Teacher (Boys), you will deliver high-quality lessons that inspire students to achieve, support their wellbeing, and contribute to a vibrant extracurricular sports program. This is a chance to make a real impact in a supportive and successful school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging and motivating Boys’ PE lessons that encourage student participation and achievement.
- Support positive behaviour and student engagement in all lessons.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of extracurricular sports and PE activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve student outcomes and wellbeing.
- Promote a culture of respect, responsibility, and determination among students.
- Stay updated with best practices in PE and sports education.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in staff development and school improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant PE experience, ideally in Boys’ PE.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective PE lessons.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in supporting student behaviour and wellbeing.
- Commitment to promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
Preferred
- Experience in a high-achieving school environment.
- Knowledge of sports coaching or leadership roles.
- Experience with extracurricular sports programs.
- Familiarity with the Everyday Development (EDD) Framework.
- Experience in a multi-academy trust or similar setting.
