The Opportunity:

As a Music Teacher for Early Learning Center, you will inspire young children aged 3 to 6 with engaging and creative musical experiences. You will bring joy, rhythm, and movement into the lives of students through interactive lessons and a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver age-appropriate music lessons that encourage creativity and engagement.
  • Use a variety of musical instruments and resources to enhance learning and participation.
  • Sing and play music with children in both German and English, promoting multilingual development.
  • Plan and design original lesson plans that align with the school’s educational goals.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and expression.
  • Collaborate with other educators to support the holistic development of students.
  • Manage classroom activities and ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule with a minimum of two teaching days per week.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Completed qualification in music or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with children aged 3 to 6 in a kindergarten or pre-school setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to support a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and encourage positive behavior.
  • Excellent command of both German and English.

Preferred

  • Experience with early childhood music education or creative teaching methods.
  • Familiarity with international curricula or IB teaching principles.
  • Background in child protection or safeguarding practices.
