Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative music lessons that align with the National Curriculum for England.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that foster student creativity and musical skills.
• Support students in preparing for GCSE and A Level Music qualifications.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s music program and explore leadership opportunities.
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
• Utilize technology to enhance the learning experience and support student progress.
• Maintain strong communication with parents and students to ensure a consistent and supportive approach to learning.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities to continue growing as an educator.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor of Education or a relevant degree with PGCE or PGDE (or an equivalent teaching qualification)
• Proven experience teaching GCSE and A Level Music
• Strong interest in career development and leadership
• Excellent IT and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students and staff

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum development and innovation in music education
• Knowledge of AR and AI technology in education
• Experience in developing student leadership and skills programs
• Background in inclusive education and student support
