Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging music instruction aligned with the IB MYP/DP curriculum.

• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that align with the IB Approaches to Teaching and Learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices and student outcomes.
• Provide individualised support and guidance to students, ensuring their academic and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent, with a specialism in Music.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Secondary Music.
• Strong understanding of the IB MYP/DP framework and Approaches to Teaching.
• Commitment to the IB Learner Profile values and a non-selective, culturally diverse educational environment.
• Availability to start in August 2026.

Preferred

• Experience teaching in an IB curriculum school.
• Advanced qualifications in Music or Education.
• Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes and engagement.
• Experience with continuing professional development and leadership in the classroom.
