The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Physics Teacher to join a dedicated Science team in August 2026. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students through engaging, inquiry-based learning while contributing to a school committed to sustainability and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Physics lessons at GCSE and A Level, using innovative teaching methods.
• Promote student engagement and curiosity through interactive and inquiry-based learning.
• Support the school’s sustainability mission by integrating eco-conscious practices into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the Science curriculum.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
• Utilize technology to enhance the learning experience and improve student outcomes.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s digital strategy.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor of Education (BEd) or a relevant degree with PGCE/PGDE (or equivalent teaching qualification)
• Proven experience teaching Physics at GCSE and A Level
• Strong IT and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and parents

Preferred

• Experience with curriculum innovation and sustainability initiatives
• Familiarity with AR and AI technology in education
• Background in experiential learning and student-centered teaching approaches
