As a Music Teacher, you will inspire young learners aged 3–13 through music education and contribute to the school’s pastoral and academic goals. This role is ideal for a passionate musician with a strong background in performance and a commitment to working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the academic and pastoral development of students aged 3–13 through music instruction.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of music-related activities and events.
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Head Pastoral to enhance student engagement and well-being.
  • Contribute to the marketing and operational aspects of the school.
  • Deliver high-quality music lessons that align with the school’s educational standards.
  • Encourage student participation in music programs and performances.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Support the school’s mission to provide a well-rounded education for every child.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A strong background in music and performance.
  • Competence in playing the piano.
  • Experience in teaching or working with children aged 3–13.
  • A commitment to supporting the academic and pastoral development of students.
  • Completion of A-levels or equivalent qualifications.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of music theory and pedagogy.
  • Ability to contribute to school events and marketing initiatives.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with child protection and safeguarding procedures.
