Key Responsibilities:
- Support the academic and pastoral development of students aged 3–13 through music instruction.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of music-related activities and events.
- Collaborate with the Deputy Head Pastoral to enhance student engagement and well-being.
- Contribute to the marketing and operational aspects of the school.
- Deliver high-quality music lessons that align with the school’s educational standards.
- Encourage student participation in music programs and performances.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Support the school’s mission to provide a well-rounded education for every child.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A strong background in music and performance.
- Competence in playing the piano.
- Experience in teaching or working with children aged 3–13.
- A commitment to supporting the academic and pastoral development of students.
- Completion of A-levels or equivalent qualifications.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of music theory and pedagogy.
- Ability to contribute to school events and marketing initiatives.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with child protection and safeguarding procedures.
