Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical care and support to students in Sick Bay, ensuring prompt and effective treatment.
• Assess and monitor the health needs of students, offering advice and guidance to both pupils and staff.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all students under your care.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student well-being.
• Deliver health education and promote healthy lifestyle choices among students.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the school setting.
• Support the school’s commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion through all aspects of healthcare delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• NMC registered nurse with valid professional qualifications.
• Experience working with children in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development and health education.
• Familiarity with school policies and procedures.
