Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality music lessons to students across a range of age groups.
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative music curricula.
- Direct and lead both choral and instrumental ensembles.
- Support students in developing their musical talents and skills.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the school’s co-curricular programme.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in the school’s pastoral care and boarding community activities.
- Monitor and assess student progress in music regularly.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree in music or a related field.
- Strong keyboard skills and the ability to perform at a high standard.
- Experience in teaching music to students of various ages and abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to working in a boarding school environment.
Preferred
- Experience in choral and instrumental directing.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Previous experience working in a state boarding school setting.
- A passion for fostering student development through music.
