Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality MYP/DP Business lessons that align with the IB Learner Profile and curriculum frameworks.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
• Support student learning through personalized feedback, assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities provided by the school and the IB Organisation.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives and the continuous improvement of the Business curriculum.
• Engage with the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent specialism in Business.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching Secondary Business.
• Proven experience teaching Business at the MYP/DP level.
• Strong understanding of the IB MYP & DP framework and Approaches to Teaching.
• Alignment with the IB philosophy and commitment to the IB Learner Profile values.

Preferred

• Experience teaching within an IB curriculum school.
• Advanced qualifications in Business or Education.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• August 2026 availability.
