Key Responsibilities:

• Teach IB Diploma Physics and Grade 9 and 10 Coordinated Science in a well-resourced and supportive environment.
• Create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that challenge students and support diverse learners.
• Design and deliver assessments that promote ongoing learning and provide timely, meaningful feedback.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management that supports academic, social, and emotional development.
• Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed about student progress and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree in Physics or a closely related discipline and a recognised teaching qualification or certification.
• Experience in teaching Physics at the high school level.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and concept-based teaching.

Preferred

• Experience with the IB Diploma Programme or Coordinated Science curriculum.
• Willingness to participate in professional learning and contribute to the five elements of the school’s learning programme: Academics, Activities, Outdoor Education, Personal and Social Education, and Service.
