Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics instruction to students across Years 7 to 13.
- Design and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans aligned with IGCSE, IBDP, and A Level curricula.
- Support the development of students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry skills.
- Contribute to the school’s pastoral care and extra-curricular programme.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and promote a positive school culture.
- Participate in professional development and continue to grow as an educator.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Stay up to date with developments in Physics education and integrate innovative teaching practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong academic background in Physics.
- Proven experience teaching Physics to students across a range of ages and abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and engage students in a dynamic learning environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
- Willingness to contribute to the school’s pastoral care and co-curricular activities.
Preferred
- Experience teaching IGCSE, IBDP, or A Level Physics.
- Familiarity with international education systems and curricula.
- Experience with differentiated instruction and student-centered learning approaches.
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills.
- Knowledge of sustainability and global citizenship education.
