The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Maths Teacher to join a dynamic department and inspire students across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level. This role offers the chance to contribute to a thriving academic community and support students in achieving excellence in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level Mathematics, including Further Maths.
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that promote high standards and a love of mathematics.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the curriculum and assessment strategies.
- Support students through individualised guidance and pastoral care.
- Participate in co-curricular and enrichment activities that promote mathematical thinking and problem-solving.
- Stay up to date with curricular developments and implement best practices in teaching.
- Contribute to departmental meetings, planning, and staff development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level Mathematics.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to collaborative and reflective teaching practices.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
Preferred
- Advanced Further Maths skills.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Early Careers Teachers are welcome to apply.
- Experience with IT innovation and digital teaching tools.
