A school is seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Maths Teacher to join a dynamic department and inspire students across Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level. This role offers the chance to contribute to a thriving academic community and support students in achieving excellence in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level Mathematics, including Further Maths.
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that promote high standards and a love of mathematics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Support students through individualised guidance and pastoral care.
  • Participate in co-curricular and enrichment activities that promote mathematical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Stay up to date with curricular developments and implement best practices in teaching.
  • Contribute to departmental meetings, planning, and staff development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A Level Mathematics.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to collaborative and reflective teaching practices.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.

Preferred

  • Advanced Further Maths skills.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Early Careers Teachers are welcome to apply.
  • Experience with IT innovation and digital teaching tools.
