The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Maths up to A Level with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Contribute to the development and review of the Maths curriculum.
  • Support the Head of Department with public examination entries and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school examinations, and other activities.
  • Engage in extra-curricular activities and enrichment events.
  • Ensure marking aligns with departmental standards and school policy.
  • Attend school functions, including staff meetings and parents’ evenings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience teaching Maths up to A Level.
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take on departmental responsibilities.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with current educational standards and policies.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering high-quality lessons that inspire student engagement.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities related to Maths.
  • Experience with professional development and training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
