The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that engage and challenge students
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that enhance student learning
  • Support students in achieving their academic potential and personal growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve departmental outcomes
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities related to Psychology
  • Monitor and assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral care and community engagement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Psychology
  • Strong subject knowledge in Psychology and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
  • Experience in teaching at the secondary level (11-18)
  • Commitment to student well-being and pastoral care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching and learning strategies
  • Experience with pastoral care and student support
  • Ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities and school events
  • Experience in working within a school with a religious character
