The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Psychology Teacher to join our successful department. This role offers the chance to inspire and support students in their academic and personal growth, while benefiting from a supportive and collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons that engage and challenge students
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that enhance student learning
- Support students in achieving their academic potential and personal growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve departmental outcomes
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities related to Psychology
- Monitor and assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through pastoral care and community engagement
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Psychology
- Strong subject knowledge in Psychology and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
- Experience in teaching at the secondary level (11-18)
- Commitment to student well-being and pastoral care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience in developing and delivering a broad and balanced curriculum
- Familiarity with innovative teaching and learning strategies
- Experience with pastoral care and student support
- Ability to contribute to extra-curricular activities and school events
- Experience in working within a school with a religious character
