The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Russian Language Teacher to join our team and support students in achieving academic excellence. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on student learning and contribute to a dynamic, inclusive school culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inspiring and effective Russian language lessons that align with the school's curriculum and IB criteria.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that reflect the school’s Teaching and Learning Charter and provide timely feedback to students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress using official platforms and methodologies.
  • Support students in preparing for external examinations and provide guidance on option choices.
  • Participate in academic meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum and teaching resources.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues while upholding the school’s Code of Conduct.
  • Contribute to the pastoral care of students through attendance monitoring, wellbeing support, and mentorship.
  • Engage in co-curricular activities, including field trips and NAE Global Campus events.
  • Support the school in accreditation processes and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • QTS/PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related subject
  • Experience teaching Russian language to students aged 11-16
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to continuing professional development
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

Preferred

  • Experience with the IB curriculum
  • Experience working in an international school setting
  • Familiarity with MYP and DP curriculum requirements
  • Experience with teaching Theory of Knowledge
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
