Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons across the Secondary School
• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and reporting within the PE department
• Coach and support extracurricular sport in at least one core sport area
• Support whole-school sporting events, including sports days and competitions
• Promote positive attitudes towards health, wellbeing and lifelong participation in physical activity
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the PE programme and student engagement
• Provide regular feedback and support to students to foster development and achievement
• Stay updated with current trends and best practices in physical education

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Hold a BEd or Bachelor's degree major in Physical Education or equivalent or PGCE with QTS
• Embody and role model the core values of Grow, Flourish and Succeed
• Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents

Preferred

• A creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
• Aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
• Willingness to make a positive contribution to the school community and culture through active engagement in extra-curricular programme and community-based events
