The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified PE Teacher - EYFS & Primary to inspire young learners and support their physical development. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to delivering high-quality PE and swimming lessons in line with the National Curriculum for England. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate PE and swimming lessons across EYFS and Primary phases
• Plan and implement a curriculum that promotes fundamental movement skills and structured sport development
• Support the school’s mission to provide a broad and balanced education through a range of physical activities
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student progress and attainment in PE
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Stay up to date with best practices in physical education and sport development
• Participate in staff development and training initiatives
• Contribute to the school’s wider community through extracurricular activities and events

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge
• At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England
• Strong experience delivering Physical Education across EYFS and Primary phases
• Relevant Level 2 qualifications in at least one primary physical education discipline
• Proven ability to teach fundamental movement skills and structured sport and athletics development

Preferred

• Experience with teaching swimming to primary students
• Qualifications in multiple physical education disciplines
• Experience with AI curriculum or innovative teaching methods
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
