The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver an engaging computing curriculum tailored to the needs of primary students.
• Promote digital literacy and computational thinking across all year groups.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology and AI initiatives into the classroom.
• Support students in achieving academic excellence through differentiated instruction and assessment.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in computing education and pedagogy.
• Contribute to the school’s mission of inclusivity and innovation through professional development and community engagement.
• Participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that enhance student learning and development.
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress to parents and senior leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A B.Ed. or degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent with exceptional subject knowledge in computing.
• At least 3 years of experience teaching the National Curriculum for England.
• Demonstrated experience in promoting digital literacy across the primary school.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

• Experience with AI and technology-based learning initiatives.
• Familiarity with social robots in education.
• Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
• Knowledge of international education standards and practices.
