Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Physical Education lessons across all key stages, from Foundation Stage to Sixth Form
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential through physical activity and healthy lifestyles
• Develop and implement a comprehensive extra-curricular programme aligned with the school’s mission
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
• Promote the well-being and pastoral care of students within the department
• Stay up to date with current developments in Physical Education and incorporate innovative teaching methods
• Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and high profile of the department

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant Bachelor's Degree
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Physical Education
• Ability to deliver consistently inspirational lessons and a track record of outstanding results
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Evidence of recent professional development in Physical Education
• Commitment to the extra-curricular programme and student well-being
• Innovative and creative mindset

Preferred

• Experience of working overseas or with international students
