Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons to students across all year groups
• Support the school’s mission by fostering a culture of excellence and lifelong learning
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the swimming curriculum
• Participate actively in the school’s extra-curricular programme and pastoral care initiatives
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during lessons and activities
• Stay up to date with professional development opportunities in swimming and education
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department’s profile and performance
• Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Hold a relevant Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in teaching swimming or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for swimming
• Ability to deliver consistently inspirational lessons and achieve outstanding results
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Evidence of recent professional development
• Commitment to the school’s extra-curricular and pastoral care programmes
• Positive and innovative mindset

Preferred

• Experience working overseas or with international students
