We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join a dynamic and well-resourced department. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality A Level Physics education and contributing to the school’s strong academic and extracurricular programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons at both GCSE and A Level, ensuring engaging and effective teaching.
- Support students in achieving excellent academic results and fostering a deep understanding of the subject.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a wide range of GCSE and A Level courses.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and continuing professional development opportunities.
- Engage with students through co-curricular activities and extracurricular initiatives related to Physics and STEM.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate and in line with school policies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a strong background in Physics education.
- Experience teaching Physics at A Level and GCSE.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take responsibility for student progress.
Preferred
- Experience in a co-educational or boarding school setting.
- Involvement in STEM-related extracurricular activities.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
