We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics Teacher to join a dynamic and well-resourced department. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality A Level Physics education and contributing to the school’s strong academic and extracurricular programs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons at both GCSE and A Level, ensuring engaging and effective teaching.
  • Support students in achieving excellent academic results and fostering a deep understanding of the subject.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of a wide range of GCSE and A Level courses.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and continuing professional development opportunities.
  • Engage with students through co-curricular activities and extracurricular initiatives related to Physics and STEM.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate and in line with school policies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in Physics education.
  • Experience teaching Physics at A Level and GCSE.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and take responsibility for student progress.

Preferred

  • Experience in a co-educational or boarding school setting.
  • Involvement in STEM-related extracurricular activities.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
