The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Maths Teacher who is passionate about Mathematics and dedicated to inspiring students of all abilities. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and supportive teaching team, with a focus on innovation and the use of technology in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that engage and challenge students across a range of abilities.
  • Contribute to the development of a stimulating and innovative curriculum, incorporating the use of ICT.
  • Support students in their academic progress, including those preparing for Oxbridge entrance.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the overall direction of the Mathematics department.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
  • Engage with students and parents through regular communication and pastoral support.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Experience in using ICT effectively in teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in supporting students applying to Oxbridge or other top universities.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of innovative teaching resources.
  • Experience in a school with a strong academic and pastoral ethos.
