Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Physics lessons that inspire and challenge students.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and assessment.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals and specialist technicians.
  • Contribute to the co-curricular life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and induction programs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with developments in the field of Physics and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
  • Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or willingness to work towards it.
  • A relevant degree in Physics or a related subject.
  • Experience in teaching Physics at secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching other Science subjects.
  • Experience working in the independent or maintained sector.
  • Familiarity with the IB Diploma Programme.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
