The Opportunity:
As a Physics Teacher, you will play a key role in inspiring students and delivering high-quality education. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school known for its outstanding academic results and commitment to student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Physics lessons to students of all abilities, up to A-Level
- Develop and implement schemes of work in line with national curriculum standards
- Participate in departmental activities, including field trips and enrichment programs
- Monitor and support student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers
- Act as a Form Tutor, promoting positive behaviour and student well-being
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A good honours degree in Physics or a related discipline
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong knowledge of Physics curriculum and exam specifications
- Excellent organisational and classroom management skills
Preferred
- Experience teaching a range of abilities, including A-Level
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
- Experience with Catholic education or values-based teaching
