The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and adaptable PE, Geography and Science Teacher KS3-KS4 to join our team. This role is primarily focused on PE, with the opportunity to also teach Geography and Science. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic, physical, and personal development in a small, inclusive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons tailored to the needs of students.
• Teach Geography to KS4 and Science to KS3, where applicable, following the National Curriculum.
• Support the academic, physical, and personal development of students with a range of learning needs.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning styles and requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and structured learning environment.
• Promote wellbeing, resilience, and participation among students.
• Monitor and assess student progress in line with school standards.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individual education plans.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching PE at KS3-KS4 level.
• Ability to teach Geography to KS4 and/or Science to KS3.
• Strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience working in a SEND setting.
• Knowledge of SpLD and ASD support strategies.
• Familiarity with bespoke education approaches.
• Experience with curriculum planning and delivery in a small class environment.
• Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
