Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to students across Key Stages 2 to 4.
  • Support the delivery of Key Stage 2 Science where required.
  • Plan and prepare resources that align with the curriculum and promote student learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and events.
  • Stay up to date with current Geography education trends and best practices.
  • Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 2 to 4.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Commitment to student progress and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering Key Stage 2 Science.
  • Familiarity with classical education and a holistic approach to teaching.
  • Experience with extra-curricular activities and student leadership.
  • Knowledge of modern languages such as Italian, Spanish, Mandarin, or Greek.
