Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3, I/GCSE, and Key Stage 5.
• Develop and implement engaging, student-centered learning experiences using the latest technology and AI tools.
• Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and wider campus life.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission of Positive Education and character development.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure academic success.
• Stay up to date with developments in the field of Computer Science and integrate new teaching methodologies.
• Support the school’s signature programmes, including STEAM and Environmental and Sustainability Studies.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Minimum of a B.Ed. or a B.A. with a PGCE in Computer Science, along with QTS.
• Proven experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 3 and I/GCSE levels.
• Strong academic background and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to Positive Education and character development in students.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a supportive and driven team environment.

Preferred

• Experience teaching Key Stage 5 Computer Science.
• Familiarity with AI and cutting-edge technology in the classroom.
• Experience with innovative teaching methodologies and curriculum design.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Passion for extracurricular activities and student engagement.
