The Opportunity:

A Primary Computing Teacher is sought to join a thriving school, delivering the UK National Curriculum Computing programme across KS1 and KS2. This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and enthusiastic educator to make a meaningful impact on student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Computing lessons across KS1 and KS2, aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
  • Develop and implement cross-curricular learning strategies that enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Computing education and integrate new technologies and teaching methods.
  • Support the school’s commitment to student well-being and safety at all times.
  • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Computing in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum Computing programme.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Experience working in an international school environment is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student safety and well-being.

Preferred

  • Experience with cross-curricular teaching and learning approaches.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and technologies used in primary education.
  • Experience in a school with a diverse student population.
  • Previous involvement in school-wide initiatives or leadership roles.
