The Opportunity:

A Primary Music Teacher is needed to inspire a love of music, develop students’ creativity and confidence, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and ambitious educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Music lessons to Primary students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can develop their musical talents.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum.
• Organize and support school performances, assemblies, concerts, and other musical events.
• Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and support student development.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
• Support the school’s commitment to inclusion and EAL provision.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s music program and student outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A Bachelor's Degree in Music or a related subject.
• A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Music within a Primary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for inspiring young learners through music.

Preferred

• Experience delivering the English National Curriculum.
• Experience with EAL or inclusion strategies.
• Experience in organizing school performances or musical events.
