Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the PE curriculum across the Primary phase in line with the school’s educational standards.
  • Support whole-school initiatives focused on student wellbeing and physical development.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and the wider school community.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and ethics in all aspects of the role.
  • Encourage teamwork, resilience, and confidence through sport and physical activity.
  • Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in primary education.
  • Strong knowledge of PE curriculum and delivery methods for young learners.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering PE curriculum across multiple year groups.
  • Familiarity with British national curriculum and international education standards.
  • Experience with bilingual or multicultural educational environments.
  • Background in sports coaching or extracurricular activity leadership.
