Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 through to Sixth Form.
  • Plan and implement a wide range of practical and interactive activities that promote student engagement and learning.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching and assessment in line with the exam syllabus for GCSE and IB.
  • Support students in developing independent and reflective learning skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance subject delivery and implement new learning initiatives.
  • Uphold the school’s values and maintain high standards of professional conduct.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the school’s curriculum and teaching practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching Catalan and Spanish at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.
  • Experience in delivering the GCSE and IB syllabus.
  • Proven ability to plan and deliver dynamic and creative lessons.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international or multicultural school setting.
  • Familiarity with the British national curriculum and IGCSE qualifications.
  • Leadership experience or involvement in curriculum development.
  • Experience with teaching English as a second language.
