Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate PE lesson plans that promote physical activity and healthy living
• Coach and mentor students in various sports activities, helping them build skills and sportsmanship
• Ensure the health and safety of students during PE classes and sports events
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their physical development and overall well-being
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to create a holistic approach to student fitness and health
• Stay up to date with best practices in physical education and health promotion
• Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students of all ages and skill levels

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
• Teaching certification/license in Physical Education
• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring students in sports activities
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices in physical education and sports
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Preferred

• Experience working in an international school setting
• Familiarity with the IB curriculum and philosophy
• Experience in developing and delivering age-appropriate PE programs
• Strong understanding of child development and inclusive teaching practices
