Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate PE lesson plans that promote physical activity and healthy living
• Coach and mentor students in a variety of sports, fostering skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Ensure the health and safety of students during PE classes and sports events
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support physical development and well-being
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to create a holistic approach to student fitness
• Stay current with best practices in physical education, health promotion, and safety
• Support the school’s mission by contributing to a positive, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students of all ages and skill levels

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or a related field
• Teaching certification or license in Physical Education
• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring students in sports activities
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices in physical education and sports
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Preferred

• Experience working in an international or IB school setting
• Familiarity with the IB curriculum and philosophy
• Experience with student assessment and progress tracking in PE
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor other teachers or student athletes
