The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality math lessons that align with curriculum standards and promote student engagement.
  • Collaborate with Learning Enhancement Teachers to support individual student understanding and academic growth.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with students to ensure personalized and successful learning outcomes.
  • Guide students in developing academic achievement, personal responsibility, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay informed on the latest educational techniques and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative school culture through teamwork and shared leadership.
  • Incorporate practical applications of math into daily lessons to enhance student comprehension and real-world relevance.
  • Support the school’s mission by maintaining high academic standards and a culture of excellence.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5).
  • At least two years of experience as a lead teacher in a classroom.
  • Commitment to maintaining and enhancing the rigor of international education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with bilingual education or teaching in international schools.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methodologies and technology integration in the classroom.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment design.
