Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum for Grade 1 students
• Design and implement effective, student-centered lesson plans tailored to young learners
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s mission of academic excellence and holistic development
• Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to ensure a consistent and supportive learning experience
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and student outcomes
• Support the school’s values of respect, empathy, and cultural diversity in the classroom and beyond
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure individual learning needs are met

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Graduate Diploma in Education or related field
• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in primary/elementary education
• Strong knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum for primary students
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Proficient communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues

Preferred

• Experience with teaching young learners in an international school setting
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
• Experience with child safeguarding and safe recruitment practices
