Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging, challenging learning activities that promote student achievement.
• Foster a positive learning culture where students are motivated to reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the STEAM faculty to develop interdisciplinary projects and approaches.
• Support and contribute to extracurricular and enrichment activities that enhance student learning.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Stay up to date with developments in computer science and incorporate innovative teaching methods.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A university degree and a recognised teaching qualification.
• At least two years of teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer science and the ability to teach KS3, IGCSE, and A-Level.
• Commitment to student achievement and a passion for inspiring learners.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a new and vibrant culture.
• Willingness to meet visa-related requirements for Yangon, Myanmar.

Preferred

• Experience with interdisciplinary teaching and project-based learning.
• Familiarity with the English National Curriculum and international education standards.
• Experience with innovative teaching methods and educational technology.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
