The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher of Arabic 2 & French (Part Time) to join a vibrant and supportive teaching community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Arabic 2 and French to primary students, ensuring alignment with the English National Curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver medium and short-term teaching strategies, setting and monitoring targets for student progress.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being and academic achievement.
  • Support students through differentiated instruction and individualized learning strategies.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, extracurricular activities, and community-building efforts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and performance.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in teaching Arabic 2 and French at the primary level.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support a positive school culture.

Preferred

  • Experience with international curricula, particularly the English National Curriculum.
  • Familiarity with teaching in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience with bilingual or multilingual education.
  • Strong classroom management and leadership skills.
  • Experience in developing and leading extracurricular activities.
