We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal to lead a school through its next phase of growth and improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven leader to shape the future of a school committed to raising standards and ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall operations of the school to ensure consistent improvement and high standards of education.
  • Develop and implement a clear vision for the school, aligned with the school’s core values and goals.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and aspirational school culture that promotes student achievement and well-being.
  • Work closely with the Trust to drive innovation and best practice across the academy network.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
  • Monitor and evaluate academic performance to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of the school.
  • Support the professional development of staff and encourage a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Ensure the school complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, including safeguarding and equality policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a senior leader in a secondary school setting.
  • A strong track record of improving student outcomes and school performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
  • Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative structure.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a school towards an "Outstanding" Ofsted rating.
  • Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects and leading strategic change.
  • Strong understanding of educational policy and best practice in school leadership.
