Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the overall operations of the school to ensure consistent improvement and high standards of education.
- Develop and implement a clear vision for the school, aligned with the school’s core values and goals.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and aspirational school culture that promotes student achievement and well-being.
- Work closely with the Trust to drive innovation and best practice across the academy network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
- Monitor and evaluate academic performance to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of the school.
- Support the professional development of staff and encourage a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Ensure the school complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, including safeguarding and equality policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a senior leader in a secondary school setting.
- A strong track record of improving student outcomes and school performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
- Experience in working within a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative structure.
Preferred
- Experience in leading a school towards an "Outstanding" Ofsted rating.
- Familiarity with the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects and leading strategic change.
- Strong understanding of educational policy and best practice in school leadership.
