The Opportunity:

As a PSV Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of pupils between the main school site and the sports playing fields. This role is essential to the school’s operations and ensures the wellbeing of students during their daily commutes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of all passengers during each journey.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, school policies, and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and care for the vehicle.
• Follow assigned rotas and punctually complete all scheduled journeys.
• Communicate effectively with school staff and pupils to ensure smooth transportation.
• Conduct regular checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of pupils when required.
• Report any issues or incidents promptly to the appropriate school authorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Valid PSV licence and relevant driving experience.
• A full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience in driving school transport vehicles or similar roles.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to passenger safety.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Preferred

• Experience working in an educational or school environment.
• Familiarity with child passenger safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
