Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in delivering high-quality educational experiences to young children
• Assist with planning, preparing and delivering activities that promote learning and development
• Work closely with children with additional needs, where appropriate
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for all children
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers and other staff members
• Keep accurate records of children’s progress and development
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
• Ensure all health and safety policies are followed at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teaching Assistant with NVQ Level 3 in Early Years
• Experience working with young children in an educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative when required

Preferred

• Experience with Special Educational Needs
• Knowledge of Early Childhood Education and Development
• Experience with curriculum planning and delivery
• Flexibility to work during holiday provision weeks

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive term-time only salary ranging from £22,110 to £23,590
• Additional earning opportunities through overtime for wrap-around care
• Generous holiday allowance of 5.6 weeks per year
