The Opportunity:
A school is seeking a passionate and inspiring RE Teacher to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be able to teach A-Level and contribute to the school's continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality RE lessons that are engaging, thought-provoking, and aligned with the school’s Catholic ethos.
- Teach A-Level RE and support students in achieving excellent academic outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and innovate the RE curriculum.
- Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and critical thinking.
- Provide pastoral support to students and contribute to their overall spiritual and moral development.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events that reflect the school’s values and mission.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning and growth.
- Engage in professional development and continue to enhance teaching practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS.
- Experience teaching RE at both GCSE and A-Level.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
- Familiarity with Catholic education and theology.
- Demonstrated success in improving student outcomes.
