Junior School Teacher KS2 – Part Time 0.8FTE (4 days per week) – Required from September 2026

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Junior School Teacher KS2 to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Key Stage 2 students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and personal development
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and cross-curricular initiatives
- Support the co-curriculum by participating in extracurricular activities and school events
- Uphold the school’s values of diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding in all aspects of teaching and student interaction
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Work closely with parents and carers to support student learning and well-being
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in teaching Key Stage 2
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to the school’s values, including diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding
- Ability to work flexibly within a part-time role (0.8FTE)
- Experience in creating and delivering engaging, student-centered lessons
- A passion for education and a commitment to the well-being of students
Preferred
- Experience in an independent or maintained school setting
- Demonstrable success in motivating and inspiring young learners
- Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and technologies
- Experience with inclusive education and supporting students with diverse learning needs
- Active involvement in the co-curriculum or extracurricular activities
