The Opportunity:

Join a dynamic team as Registrar and Head's PA, playing a key role in supporting the Headmistress and ensuring the smooth operation of the school. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and confidential support to the Headmistress and other senior staff.
  • Manage the Headmistress’s diary, appointments, and school visits efficiently.
  • Handle all parent, student, and staff inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
  • Liaise with external agencies, schools, and professional bodies as required.
  • Organise and host school events, including meetings, functions, and parent visits.
  • Prepare and circulate minutes from meetings, including Governors’ meetings.
  • Process and manage complaints in line with the school’s policy and procedures.
  • Assist in the collation of reports and statistics for the Headmistress, governors, and external bodies.
  • Support the Headmistress in the planning and execution of school events and meetings.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and school management systems.
  • A levels or equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in an administrative or office role.
  • Experience in taking minutes and managing schedules.
  • High levels of organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.

Preferred

  • Degree-level education or equivalent.
  • Experience in a school environment or with school MIS systems.
  • Previous experience as a Registrar or Head’s PA.
  • Experience in managing complaints and safeguarding processes.
