The Opportunity:
Join a dynamic team as Registrar and Head's PA, playing a key role in supporting the Headmistress and ensuring the smooth operation of the school. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and confidential support to the Headmistress and other senior staff.
- Manage the Headmistress’s diary, appointments, and school visits efficiently.
- Handle all parent, student, and staff inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
- Liaise with external agencies, schools, and professional bodies as required.
- Organise and host school events, including meetings, functions, and parent visits.
- Prepare and circulate minutes from meetings, including Governors’ meetings.
- Process and manage complaints in line with the school’s policy and procedures.
- Assist in the collation of reports and statistics for the Headmistress, governors, and external bodies.
- Support the Headmistress in the planning and execution of school events and meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and school management systems.
- A levels or equivalent qualifications.
- Experience in an administrative or office role.
- Experience in taking minutes and managing schedules.
- High levels of organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.
Preferred
- Degree-level education or equivalent.
- Experience in a school environment or with school MIS systems.
- Previous experience as a Registrar or Head’s PA.
- Experience in managing complaints and safeguarding processes.
